Hematite Processing Plant

Hematite, containing 70% of iron, is regarded the one of the most important iron ores. There are many mineral collections of hematite, such as specularite?micaceous hematite and renal-shape hematite.Hematite is typically found in places where there has been standing water or mineral hot springs such as those in SuperiorLake in the United States, some lake regions in Russia and Brazil. China is also rich in hematite, which has spread in some provinces, such as Liaoning, Gansu, Hubei and Hebei province.

Hematite-dressing process

(1) Put the hematite particles of 0.5-5mm into the hopper, and the vibration motor will make them evenly distributed from the discharge hole. In addition, the output capacity can be realized a precise adjustment by the hand-wheel.

(2) The conveyer belt will send those hematite particles into the magnetic plant to reach separation. The hematite belongs to the magnetic ores, which are suitable for magnetic separation. Those highly magnetic particles are attracted by magnetic roller in the magnetic field. However, none of minerals can´t avoidimpurities. It is difficult for gangue particles to be attracted by magnetic roller, so they are discarded when the magnetic roller approaches to the partition plate. The content of fine hematite ore can be adjusted in line with the angles of partition plate. Under the motion of magnetic roller, the fine hematite particles will be sent into the demagnetizing section where they autogenously drop into the nodule collector. Then the final products will be collected.

(3) However, the gangue particles contain a certain percentage of low-magnetic hematite particles, which will drop into the second nodule collector. The remaining gangue particles will be stored and discharged out of the tailing gate. So the whole process of magnetic separation is finished perfect.
